Es cantó, 2022

In the renovation and extension of this house, we have worked carefully to maintain the essence and character of traditional Mallorcan architecture. Using local materials, we aimed to preserve the authenticity of the environment and enhance the original beauty of the structure.

Natural light plays a crucial role in our design. Through the redistribution of spaces and the inclusion of large windows, we have managed to flood every corner of the house with natural light, creating warm and welcoming environments.

Our goal was to make the most of the outdoor spaces, and this plot with its peculiar L shape gave us the opportunity to add a charming guest house overlooking the pool. A luxury that not all projects can offer.

The “Es Cantó” project is a demonstration of how contemporary architecture can respect and enhance local tradition, creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces in perfect harmony with their surroundings.
